Location was super
Stuck in room 40 on top floor and the heat was unbearable. Asked reception staff for a fan as the window hardly opened but they were unable to help. the door of room moved constantly so throughout the night you thought someone was trying to enter the room and you could hear the conversations (and other stuff) very clearly of the people in the room next door. the shower was really dirty but was ok heat and power wise. although this was cheaper than other hotels, there was not a huge difference in price and I would definately pay the little extra to stay elsewhere in the same location next time.

Locality was excellent. Able to leave cases at hotel on departure day. Easy to get to trams/tours/airport bus/food etc.Temple Bar only 15 min walk away.
Had to ask for tea and coffee making facilities to be put into room. No fan available when very hot in room.

Location.
Reception didn't seem to know what they were doing - When we arrived we were told we had already checked in. When we tried to check out we were told we weren't meant to be checking out yet - Both wrong. The bathroom was dirty. The room was cheap, so we weren't expecting luxury, but we expected cleanliness at least.

The hotel was in an excellent location from which to explore the city. The transport was right outside the door!!!! We had lovely breakfasts each morning of our stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Location was good (a bit noisy at night but that's O'Connel St.) The food in the cafe was excellent as was the friendly service.
The fittings and furnishing were a bit old and dated. The cleanliness and tidyness of the rooms could be improved. The addition of a lounge bar would make a big difference.

We did enjoy our stay at the Lynams Hotell. It was a very central location and we really did a lot of walking around Dublin. Always close to home... The room was quite small - but al-right and the price was very god to. The restaurant was not a very funny place though so we did not prefere to eat there. The room was cleaned every day ans also the towels were changed daily. The TV was a very sad story though and need to be replaced immiadetly. It was very easy to pay at the hotel when we arrived as it was very easy to keep our bags in the reception on the checking out-day. A god place in the whole and we could easy stay there again!

the hotel was excellent as were the staff. Very central to all that Dublin offers everything was within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The bus from the airport dropped off and picked up right outside as did the hop on/off tour. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definately stay here again.

location
No tea making facilities, tv did not work, had to get a replacement tv, windows were difficult to open & close esp with traffic outside! Stayed here many times before but very unimpressed this time!

location excellent rooms reasonable, clean and presentable staff very helpful- allowed us to store luggage on 1st and last day.Even checked flight times on computer for us. Would stay here again.
Noise levels outside the hotel. We had a room at the back of the hotel and the windows didn't close very well. The room overlooked the access lane for deliveries and these deliveries started really early, with sack trucks back and forth. No lie-in for us! Better windows would have made this not be a problem

The location
Rooms were far to hot even with radiators off, glass in ceiling was cracked, the two chairs were stained with damp, and as for the multi channell tv, well we had 2 channells, RTE and ITV. In my friends room all he had was a fuzzy picture. On the plus side the locationr is excellant and if you intend to use this hotel just as a place to rest your head then it is ideal, It was a cheap hotel I know that but I was dissapointed with the room. I would recommend to other travellers but would warn them of my expierance.
